Sometimes we had to jump through a few hoops to get what we needed, but they almost always covered it. It truly does provide so well for families like yours and mine who really did need that extra coverage!Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14737908782711847715noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3568704641830136846.post-26300014156889781062011-05-02T07:58:02.925-04:002011-05-02T07:58:02.925-04:00Great post!! I hope many new parents of a child with Ds or who have a prenatal diagnosis find this - you've said it all beautifully!

Oh, and about the money thing? I had to laugh - you're so right. Medicaid also has a thing called HIPP where they pay my health insurance premium every month! As long as your health insurance is not covering more than 3 people (and one of those is your child with Medicaid) and doesn't have a high deductable, I send them my pay stubs every month and in return they send me a check. Makes things so much easier. Not sure how long it'll last, but I'm so grateful for it in the meantime.Beccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14963099760885760598noreply@blogger.com
